Tumring REDD+ project handed over the confiscated tools and equipment to local FA offices
In July 2020, the Project Management Unit (PMU) handed over all confiscated tools and equipment – chainsaws, motorbikes, hand tractors – in 2019 and 2020 to local FA offices as law enforcement operations were supported by the Tumring REDD+ Project.
Forest law enforcement activities by a mobile law enforcement unit led by the district governor
The Tumring REDD+ Project also supported the Sandan forest law enforcement unit – a mobile law enforcement unit led by the Sandan district governor. During the 3rd quarter of 2020, this law enforcement unit confiscated 03 chainsaws and 01 motorbike.
