To enforce the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Forest Law, the PMU of the Tumring REDD+ facilitated forest patrolling in the 14 community forestry (CF) groups in the project site from May to June this year. The CF members have been collaborating with the local Forest Administration officers in patrolling in their respective territories. As a result, six chainsaws were confiscated in April; while four chainsaws, 13 logs, and one silver langured were seized in May. In June, the law enforcement team impounded two hand-held tractors, two chainsaws, and 1.4 m3 of swan wood.
