In November 2019, the PUM facilitated a provincial workshop aimed to (1) provide an update on the progress of the project, (2) disseminate auditor verification plan, and (3) collect inputs from local stakeholders on the project’s proposed incentive allocation scheme. 51 representatives from community forestry areas, local authorities, local Forestry Administration officers, and PMU members participated in the dissemination workshop.

The PMU members also conducted visits to the 14 CFs located in the project area from October to December 2019. The purpose of their visits was to meet with the 14 CF management committees to follow up on implementation of the project activities, patrolling issues, as well as challenges related to land encroachment, land conflict, illegal logging, and others. The PMU members also received patrolling reports and approved work plans from the CFs during these visits. In total, 340 participants, 75 of whom were women, attended the meetings with PMU.
